A snapshot of where I've been and what I've done.

I've had quite a bit of experience working with several different types of clients, customers, and project types.  My portfolio represents some, but not all, of the projects I've been involved in.

Most of the projects in this portfolio use the structures provided by the Content Management System I developed while at a marketing agency.  I was the lead (and, typically, sole) developer on all of the projects listed below, except where noted.

Body Mechanix Fitness

http://www.bodymechanixfitness.com/flash/

Skills Used: ActionScript, MySQL, PHP, xHTML

My Role:

The Flash version of the Body Mechanix Fitness website was a project that I completed while I was an intern in college.  I include it in my portfolio because it's an extremely unique site that brought with it unique challenges since it was completely Flash-based.

Although I did not design the site, the integration of the website's design into Flash was a massive undertaking.  The client had very specific goals for the project and Flash was the only tool at the time that met all of the animation requirements.

From the complex animations to dynamic menus and text, this project was an extremely valuable lesson in ActionScript.

However, with many Apple products dropping support for Flash, and the massively negative effects Flash has on Search Engine Optimization, the site was ultimately redone using xHTML (http://www.bodymechanixfitness.com/).

The Flash website remains a viewing option for people who want a more engaging experience.
